Nobody likes an upset stomach, luckily there are many ways to help calm your tummy when it fights back at you. I’m just sharing the ways that help me, so this is more advice rather than facts. But – they still can work for you too.
Tea: I drink herbal tea when an upset stomach occurs. Peppermint is the one I usually reach for, and leaving the tea bag in is important too. The stronger it is – the more I find it works.
Hot compress: I am the owner of probably a million bean bags. Whenever I am aching, have a headache, stomach pain or anything else relating to soreness I pop a bean bag into the microwave. Hot water bottles would work too but I don’t own any. DIY BEAN BAG
Bath: Taking a hot bath also helps calm my stomach. Also – a bonus is that it helps calm most of your body and helps you relax.
Sleep: Sleeping is an easy way to help release you of pain. Mostly because when you’re sleeping you can’t really feel your stomach ache. That is if you’re not in too much pain to sleep.
IF YOUR PAINS ARE SERIOUS CONSIDER GOING TO A DOCTOR. IT COULD BE MORE THAN A SIMPLE STOMACH ACHE.
